Onam Kit items List 2024 Ration Shop: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced to distribution of Onam Kits to ration card holders. The government is all set to distribute on kids containing 13 items will be distributed to all AY ration card holders in the state. This information was provided by the chief minister of Kerala in a Press Conference that expenditure of rs 36 crore under onam kit ration shop for this initiative. And around 600000 people will get the benefits of Onam free kits.
As been know, Onam 2024 will be celebrated from 6th September to 15 September 2024. Kerala government on Wednesday decided to provide 6 lakh free provision kids to poor people for the upcoming Onam festival on 15 September. In Onam gift, 13 essential commodities would be distributed among the beneficiaries as part of this scheme.

This decision was taken by the chief minister in our Cabinet meeting chair to distribute 5,99,000 kits among people having Antodaya Anna Yojana ration cards (AAY).
Distribution of Onam ration kits:
As per government order, the Onam kids would be distributed through ration shops. For the smooth implementation of free ration kits government has sanctioned 34.29 lakh to civil supply corporations.

As per the previous year, a market will be organized under the auspices of supply to provide daily used items at low prices. Supplyco bil organized a fair from September 6 at all district headquarters and from 10 to 14 at Taluk headquarters. A special system will be set up to sell the vegetables directly from the farmers.
Chief Minister also said that steps have been taken to ensure that the uninterrupted supply of Delhi uses the items at supply and 13 items of Delhi necessities will be distributed at Maveli stores at subsidized rates. And Triveni stores offer products at 10 to 40% off.
Who is eligible to get onam ration kits 2024
This is an initiative that was started by the Kerala government to distribute free onam kits.

- Total expenditure under this initiative is around rs 34.29 crore.
- According to the order, kit value is around 555.50 in the open market.
