CM Bhajan Lal Sharma launched the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MAA) voucher scheme at an event from his residence on Thursday. Under this scheme, the government will ensure that pregnant women in rural and remote areas have access of free sonography services. Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MAA) voucher scheme will provide and enable women to avail themselves of these services at no cost in both public and private sonography centres.

The government of Rajasthan introduced this scheme in order to provide benefits for pregnant women and to take care of their newborn child. This scheme will act as healthcare benefits provided to the women as they will get free sonography at both public and private sonography centres.
In simple terms, all pregnant women in Rajasthan state can avail the benefits of the Mukhyamantri Aayushman aarogya voucher yojana as a free-of-cost sonography test. The primary goal of the government is to provide a safe and healthy life to both pregnant women and their children.
